Things You’ll Need

  • 1 1/2 Cup Carrier Oil
  • 1 Cup Chaparral Leaves
  • 1/4 Cup Beeswax


  1. Place the chaparral leaves in a glass container and pour oil over leaves. Place jar in pot add water almost to top of jar. Heat on low and leave for 2 hours. After cool, strain the oil through cheesecloth or other sieve.
  2. Add beeswax to oil.
  3. Pour mixture into containers.
  4. Leave ointment 2-3 hours to set or solidify.
