Essential Oil Dilution Guide

Note: The dilution levels given are for high quality, pure essential oils.  If you are using an essential oil that is not a premium oil or has already been diluted by the manufacturer, the below dilution guide will need to be adjusted.  Always refer to essential oil label guidelines and warnings before use.  Do not use undiluted essential oils on your skin.  Whether for skin or home care, always spot-test before use.

Acceptable carriers:

∞  Water

∞  Skin Care Oil (such as sweet almond, jojoba, argan, rosehip, etc)

∞  Unscented lotion or liquid soap

6 drops of essential oil + 1 oz carrier = 1% dilution
